Zaep Standard is designed for home usage where the computer running Zaep is also the computer that collects the email. Using Zaep Professional, you can setup Zaep as a network-wide proxy where computers anywhere on your LAN, or even the Internet, can use Zaep's services.

Zaep is configured using a simple web-based interface with detailed, context-sensitive help documentation. Zaep Professional even supports remote administration so you can configure it while you travel.

Challenge / Response

The Zaep issued challenge message validates each email in two ways: it verifies the existence of the email account and it verifies that the account goes back to a human. A quick scan of the pending challenges list will assist you in white listing newsletter email addresses. The challenge requires simple action on the part of the sender that takes only a few seconds to complete so that it's not an inconvenience. Once you've responded to the challenge, you won't have to do it again.

Custom Challenge

The Zaep administrator can set a default custom challenge message for use by all Zaep accounts. You can also specify a custom challenge for each account to personalize the message as much as you like.

Detailed Statistics

Zaep tracks the amount of messages its kept from reaching your Inbox and sorts them in to categories for easy reading. These statistics show you how effective Zaep is as an anti-spam tool while also providing valuable feedback on its operation.

Trusted IPs

Sometimes, the email address a message is sent from isn't as important as WHERE it's sent from. Zaep recognizes this and allows you to specify IP address ranges that are approved for sending messages to its accounts. Messages arriving from an approved IP address are not challenged and immediately appear in your email clients Inbox.
